We highly recommend Sophia Nelson's book, Black Woman Redefined: Dispelling Myths and Discovering Fulfillment in the Age of Michelle Obama. This book focuses on college-educated Black women and their daily struggles with attempting to find balance in their lives. Having worked as an attorney in a big law firm, Nelson offers keen insight into Black womens' struggles within the legal profession. The book can be purchased here.

Also, we discovered this book through an NPR story entitled Time to 'Redefine' Media Portrayals of Black Women. This was a very interesting and enlightening podcast. Check it out asap.
